Picturelife allows you to search for times, locations, and people in your library of pictures and video. It will even suggest more ways to filter your results.
We are reminded of moments in our life all the time. When you think about the time you were at the beach 2 years ago, or that friend you haven’t seen in 10 years, it would be great to be able to see pictures of those moments as quickly as you think of them.
Having your entire library of pictures inside Picturelife is amazing. You will never lose them.. and all your pictures are right there wherever you are. However, finding that exact moment has been difficult.
We are introducing search for Picturelife.
You can search for things like “Last Summer”, and see all the photos from last summer. Search will show you other ways you might want to filter those pictures. Perhaps you want to filter them by moments that have people in them, or pictures that you took in Italy.
If you use tags to organize your pictures, search is wonderful. Search will auto-complete as you type, but will suggest contextually relevant tags to even further filter your search.
If you use ratings (the stars), to rate your pictures, you can filter by rating easily. For example, if you rate really good pictures with 4 stars, and really amazing photos with 5 stars, you could search for pictures rated 4 and above to see a selection of your very best photos.
Other cool searches: “Video”, “Rated 3 and above”, “Last year with people”, “New York Summer”, “Pictures of Sarah not shared”
Search is not only about finding specific moments, but also rediscovering moments you’ve forgotten about as well. Search will suggest some random ways you might want to look at your library by suggesting searches. It is a great way to see your photos in a new way.
This is just the beginning of our mission at Picturelife, to not only store and organize your pictures and video but also to give you the best way to rediscover your life in pictures.
The more you put into Picturelife, the more you get out.
